BODY IMAGE THEORY & PRACTICE
The International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp) stresses the value of including more than one modality in training for CEDS, CEDRD,CEDAT and CEDRN certification through iaedp.
In response, I am offering a 5-week online training and consultation group:
BODY IMAGE THEORY & PRACTICE
Saturdays, April 4 - May 2, 2020
I created this series to help ED professionals support those clients in distress from body image dissatisfaction and distortion. Theoretical approaches, experiential tasks, and case study reviews will take place in each 75-minute session, as well as live demonstrations of experiential techniques. Your participation will be encouraged as part of these experiential group therapy sessions.
Evidenced-based research supporting the importance of addressing body image issues "from the inside out" will be considered as the basis for the new developing field of Body Image Therapy.
My 25 years of experience at four hospitals and treatment centers working as a movement therapist and eating disorder specialist; 13 years of private practice; along with my iaedp involvement as a CEDS-S and Chapter executive, enable me to provide a rich experience to those seeking to better understand the complexities of this often misunderstood topic.
Sessions are easily accessible through Doxy.me, a HIPPA- confidential FREE Telemedicine service, via Chrome/Firefox/Safari (PC and MAC). No account necessary.
TO REGISTER, email me at [email protected]
A doxy-me link and login information will be provided upon registration.
Registration begins March 15
